Each issue I strap down a member of our top brass and use the finest “enhanced interrogation techniques” the PIA (Pig Inteligence Agency) has to offer. The truth always comes out. The following are transcripts of my sessions with former PCP Member of The Year and current Joint Chief of Staff, Wipsy.
SESSION THREE – WIPSY
SONIC: Start talking or the Guinness takes one to the head.
SONIC: What was your first gaming system?
WIPSY: Dabbled with the Commodore 64, But the Ds was my first venture in “REAL” gaming.
SONIC: What is your favorite video game?
WIPSY: Animal Crossing on the Nintendo DS. Got me interested in online play.
SONIC: Any hobbies besides gaming?
WIPSY: Reading, Fishing, Listening to music.
SONIC: What is the longest you have ever gamed for and what game was it?
WIPSY: Started on a Friday evening and played right through till Saturday night. About 28 hours in all. Game: Call of Duty 4 when it first came out.
SONIC: What are you drinking on Clan Night?
WIPSY: Strong tea. I know you’ll find that hard to believe, but I usually only drink once a week now on a Saturday. Can’t handle the hangovers.
SONIC: What is your favorite Clan Night match type?
WIPSY: A team based objective game. With a slight lag issue, the Headshot only type games can be a little strange.
SONIC: How did you become a member of Pork Chop Platoon?
WIPSY: Read a piece in the old COD forums, followed the link, signed up, Donk grabbed me by the neck and here I am.
SONIC: You are a member of the Joint Chiefs here at PCP. Managing a clan is huge undertaking. So, why do you do it? What keeps you coming back for more?
WIPSY: Getting that one private message from the new guy that says, Thanks for helping me get involved. Makes it all worthwhile.
SONIC: Why do they call you “Uncle” Wipsy anyhow?
WIPSY: Long story.
SONIC: PCP is formed mostly by North Americans, so what is a fine Irish gentleman such as you doing here? You always seem to be around on XBL or lurking in the forums. What I’m getting at is WHEN DO YOU SLEEP?
WIPSY: Sonic, Now you know I don’t like using bad language, but sleeping is for PUSSIES.
SONIC: What are you looking forward to from this year’s LAN in Cincinnati?
WIPSY: Meeting the greatest shower of gamers it has ever been my pleasure to meet up with online.
SONIC: I learned this one from Stephen Colbert, my interrogation mentor. PCP is a great clan or the greatest clan?
WIPSY: In my mind, It is the greatest clan. It is the people in it that makes it so. We are lucky here as the members seem to attract like minded people just like themselves.
