Here are the steps to creating your pcp logo pumpkin!
This is the stencil you will need to print.

The Next photo is of a pumpkin that I traced and cut with a dremel a week ago. It is the final Product. An alternative to carving a pumpkin is to just scratch the surface of the pumpkin and display it in a black light. the scratched pumpkin scabs its self and the scab reacts to the black light.

STEP 1

Measure your pumpkin and adjust the size of the stencil to your pumpkin size and then print it out.
As you can see by the photo I used this stencil for the pumpkin I scratched in the above photo.
There are two preferred ways to transfer the stencil to the pumpkin.
STEP 2

Tape the stencil to the pumpkin in its desired location with scotch tape.
I used a permanent marker to trace over the lines of the stencil allowing the “bleed through” to transfer the stencil to the pumpkin.
STEP 2 (Alternate)
In this alternate method I will use the rolling tool I purchased in a pumpkin kit for four dollars.

In this alternate method I will use the rolling tool I purchased in a pumpkin kit for four dollars.

Roll the tool on the marked lines of the stencil as well as making a oval around the whole stencil
STEP 3

*TIP -After you have marked the design you can rub the pumpkin with flour to show your lines or you can trace the holes with a marker.
STEP 4

I use a high speed dremel to carve my pumpkins because I’m a man and that’s what men use to carve pumpkins. However, a machete or a gigantic chef’s knife are considered equally as badass.
You will notice that I have my pumpkin on a trash bag. That is because I do not plan on using the seeds or the endtrails of the pumpkin. It makes clean up easier. The point is rip the guts out of your pumpkin.
STEP 5

Using your dremel (because thats what men use) carefully follow your stencil lines. Make sure that
you are only scraping off the orange part of the pumpkin (the skin) and not going completely thru the yellowish white pulp (meat) of the pumpkin.
The pumpkin carving kit I bought came with a scraping tool. I used that to clear away the skin to create the negative space around the pcp logo.
Be sure you leave a thin line around the logo. You’ll notice I screwed up and did not leave the outer bit on the top of the logo.

Now, go show your PCP pride to the neighbors!
