Although there are several new retail titles debuting, Xbox Live Arcade is the place to go for the best new releases this week. Here’s the breakdown of new games and content fresh on the scene.
GAME OF THE WEEK
Ancients of Ooga
I’m going out on a limb a little here for this week’s feature release. This is a game that most people have probably never heard of, but it’s been on my radar for a while. Ancients of Ooga is the latest release from developer NinjaBee. You may be familiar with their previous release, Cloning Clyde. It is the “spiritual successor” to Clyde, though not a sequel. Based on NinjaBee’s track record, this puzzle solving platformer should provide a ton of laughs throughout a very entertaining story. Look for it on Xbox Live Arcade starting on Wednesday for 800 points.
